Ordering Information

 

Inquiring about an order


Please email me with the information regarding the garment you are interested in and I will get back to you. Remember an order is not confirmed and placed until I receive your first payment. I do not have a waiting list available, I work with a first come first serve basis as I rely on serious orders. If I give you a price quote on a dress, the quote is only valid for 30 days, this is because materials and fabric availability change.

Custom Orders

Most designs on this website has prices, these prices can change without notice depending on availability of materials and fabrics. If you decide to change any aspect of a design i.e. fabrics, style, colors, embellishments, etc, the price might change so when you inquire please let me know if this is the case with you.

If you make any changes to a design after an order has been placed, additional fees will apply depending on the changes.
 

One-of-a-Kind Orders

Almost all my gowns will never be recreated exactly the same as many want the dresses in different fabrics, colors, and sometimes the style is changed slightly. You have a very slim chance to bump into yourself anywhere. Movie reproductions being an exception.

When someone asks me to make an exclusive gown I do charge an additional fee of 75%. This is because all the research and pattern construction that goes into a gown can not be used again and applied to the next gown if someone would like to have it recreated. Most exclusives are either made from fashion plates, CdV's or designed by me.
 

Placing an order and Deposits

After I have received your request I will email you and we can discuss the details of your request. After we have come to an agreement on the designs and payments I will send you your contract which you will need to sign and return to me with your first deposit. If you are under the age of 18 you have to have a parents consent and they will sign the contract for you.

US orders require a  50% deposit (30% non-refundable) on custom orders, and the balance due before the item is shipped. I accept payment plans but will not start making the garment before 50% of the full amount has been paid, please contact me for more information.

International orders require 100% payment before starting an order.

Orders will be considered placed after first payment is received. Please allow 8-10 weeks for your order; wedding gowns and some very intricate gowns will take longer, please refer to your contract per our discussion. Rush orders are subject to a 30% increase in price.
 

Rush Orders

Rush orders occur when you need a garment in less time than the original 8 weeks which is my minimum turnaround time for most garment on my site.  More intricate gowns with beading and hand embroidering, which normally require  6 - 12  months to complete are subject to a 50% increase in price. The shortest turnaround time for a beaded or hand embroidered gowns are 15 weeks Full payment is due when the order is placed.

If you at any time delay with your measurements or any other information needed to complete the garments and you give me less than 8 weeks to complete your order it will be considered a rush order and will occur a 30% increase in price and the payment is due before the garments is shipped.
 

Taking your Measurements

To ensure proper fit I will need you to fill out a measurements chart which I will send to you either by mail or with your contract, and you can send it back with your contract or fill it out and send it through email.

Take each measurement twice;  I will not be held responsible for inaccurate measurements.

Custom made garments can not be returned!
Minor alterations are acceptable (within reason) and will be made to ensure that you are happy with the item. Customer will be responsible for the shipping charges both ways for the alterations.

Careful and honest measuring is essential. For most reliable results, stand naturally in the proper shoes you would wear with this outfit.
Have someone help measure you.
Please take all the measurements listed on the page. Some might seem unnecessary to you, but they all are important for a perfect fit.
Measure with appropriate undergarments (corset, petticoats, etc.) if you do not have these and need them, please note this on your measurement chart, or if you prefer not to use them with your garment.
Tie a string around your natural waist and around each upper arm where your armholes go, for reference points.
Measure skirt lengths to the floor and make a note of how high above the floor you desire them.
 

Time of no Contact

If I repeatedly try to contact you either by phone or email but I can't get a hold of you for some reason I will hold your garment for 12 months from when the order was placed. After the 12 months you will forfeit your payments and the garment.

US buyers

Payment methods

PayPal, Cashier's checks, and Money orders. Sorry, but we are not equipped to accept credit cards directly. PayPal allows you to pay with a credit card whether you have an existing account or not.


Shipping

All items will be shipped via USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail. Shipping amount is quoted with the item in the description. All shipping quotes include insurance for the full amount of the garment purchased. I do not ship any items uninsured! (Arrangements can be made for expedited shipping at additional cost.)
 

International buyers

1. Terms for Non-US Buyers with a US Shipping Address:

Shipping

Shipping

The item will be shipped via US Postal Service... normally, the shipping options are:

1. 3-5 day Global Express International Mail with insurance and tracking
2. 4-7 day Priority International Mail
3. 4-10 day Airmail Parcel Post with insurance

Costs for these options will be calculated based on your location, the weight of the item, and the price of the item (for insurance purposes).

Customs Forms Policy:

All Customs Forms will be completed as required by law.
