Green Velvet Drapery
Gown
Beautiful
reproduction of Scarlett's green velvet drapery gown. I have studied this dress
very thoroughly to make it as authentic to the original dress as I could
possibly do. It is hand made by me; please see my
me page.
The dress is made out of moss green and olive green velvet, the pictures
does not show the colors quite right, they became a little dark. The moss
green velvet is a little lighter and is absolutely gorgeous. This dress is
two pieces, bodice and skirt, which hooks together at the waist band.
The belt/sash is made of gold and dark green cord and so are the tassels.

The dress is a little large for my mannequin, so I had to adjust things
The absolutely stunning hat is built on a buckram and wire frame, and made of the same olive
green velvet as the underskirt. It is trimmed with gold bullion fringe and
has tons of rooster feathers, and of course the chicken legs (not real).
It is held in place with a chinstrap (not elastic). It fastens under the
hat.

These are also handmade by me, and have been shaped after the
original ones in the movie. If you would like to have real chicken
feet let me know. I do have real ones, but they are not bent quite
the way they are on the original Scarlett hat, plus they are a
little unsettling to handle even though they are dried.
